Hi,

Just wondering why B.C. didn't just adopt B-Corporation legislation tailored to the Canadian situation. This was the topic of a report put out by the MaRS Discovery District Centre for Impact Investing - http://impactinvesting.marsdd.com/strategic-initiatives/benefit-corporation-b-corp-hub/.

Its implementation is the focus of the MaRSDD B Corp Hub - http://impactinvesting.marsdd.com/strategic-initiatives/benefit-corporation-b-corp-hub/. Joyce Sou is the manager.

I am from vancouver, canada and i wanted to say that i supports the people of Guatemala who came to Toronto to seek justice for the people who were affected by the atrocities committed by Hudbay mining company at Fenix Mining Project in Guatemala. All progressive people and unions in canada should support these people who came here from Guatemala to get justice for what this barbaric mining co.did to the people of Guatemala.Hopefully the judge will rule in favour of these heroic people of Guatemala.
Canadian mining companys in other countries are barbaric in the way they treats the people. This is well known in all parts of the world.Shame on the canadian gov.for allowing this to happen.
