EthicScan and CBERN webinar on CSR standards
CBERN will be hosting an upcoming webinar in conjunction with EthicScan, as part of our capacity building program. The webinar will include a review of recent research on CSR standards, and is presented by David Nitkin of EthicScan and a representative from the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC).
To be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. EST, the one-hour session will include a PowerPoint presentation and question and answer period.
For almost two decades, EthicScan Canada has been engaged with global and national CSR reporting and disclosure standards. This presentation captures in detail several of the strengths and weaknesses of these standards, many of which were designed for industry sectors with problem products or services. There have been many interesting and significant changes in standards over the last decade. You are invited to review the application lessons learned from this comparative research study, and have any of your individual questions answered. Recent clients of EthicScan’s standards research include the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation.
Attendance at the webinar is free, but is limited to the 25 registered participants. To confirm your participation, contact Hilary Martin at hmartin@cbern.ca. She’ll provide you with a link and password to access the event. If there is additional interest, a follow-up presentation will be scheduled.
The EthicScan Research Team includes Jennifer Bartholomew, Gillian Clinton, Shannon Mullins, David Nitkin, Daniel Nurgitz, and Sareh Pouryousefi.
